Handi-Crafters runs one of the largest community rehabilitation programs in southeast Pennsylvania. In our last program year we helped almost 500 people who have disabilities and other special needs in their quest to obtain meaningful employment.

  Vocational Evaluation

Our vocational evaluator makes sure  there’s a close match between our clients’ abilities and interests and the work they do.

Workshop Employment

Workshop Employment
250 people are employed in our
workshops.
They perform
production work ~ packaging,
 assembly, mailings, etc. ~
for area businesses.

Last year we helped 149 people in Chester County in their search for competitive employment.

Community Work Crews

Community Work Crews
Last year we employed over 80 people  on our community work crews in  housekeeping and light assembly for local business and government.



Older Adult Daily Living Center
This is designed to provide meaningful
 activities for adults with disabilities
who are 60 years of age or older
and/or for individuals who have
been diagnosed with dementia or
related illness who wish to retire
from their employment program.

 

Comprehensive Youth Services

Youth Services
We provide a year-round program of academic and vocational services for Chester County youth.
